Ivan Visconti's CV
I am a full professor of computer science at the University of Salerno. My research focuses on advanced cryptographic notions and tools for data protection and their applications to Blockchain Technology.

I've been the scientific coordinator for University of Salerno of the H2020 European project "PRIViLEDGE" (Privacy-Enhancing Cryptography in Distributed Ledgers), that focuses on Blockchain technology (2018-2021). Currently I'm coordinating for University of Salerno the MIUR project "PrepAring cRypTograpHy for privacy-awarE blockchaiN applicatiONs (PARTHENON)".

I got my Laurea (M.Sc. equivalent) cum laude in Computer Science in 1998 (first in my class) and my PhD in Computer Science in 2003 from University of Salerno. Then I have been a temporary researcher at the University of Salerno and post-doctoral researcher (for one year) in Paris, at ENS.

I've been Senior Area Editor of IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (T-IFS). In 2020 I received a Certificate of Merit "for outstanding editorial board service for the IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security".

Results of my research have been published in the most important worldwide conferences on theoretical computer science (STOC (1), FOCS (2)) and cryptography (CRYPTO 11), EUROCRYPT (6), TCC (14)). I'm currently program committee member of Eurocrypt 2022. In 2018 I served as program committee member of FOCS, TCC, Eurocrypt. I've been several times program committee member of IACR conferences and of ICALP 2015 (track A). See csrankings.org to have an idea about the importance of some conferences in computer science. Se also the IACR ranking on publications in top conferences in cryptography.
